Big boobs have been, are, and likely will be the bounty of the plastic surgeon for years to come. With more nicknames than you can count, there's a global fascination with big boobs, and it is not limited to Western culture. Some may not like it, but it is pervasive in all cultures, from restaurant names to rock and rap songs, film to fashion, marketing, to media, to mommy makeovers. We want them, we condemn them. we flaunt them and we mock them. But, for one reason or another, we are obsessed by them.

It's hard to pinpoint where our cultural obsession with breasts began. Perhaps it developed as a result of puritanical society and its restriction on exposure of the breasts. Perhaps it's the allure of the forbidden. Perhaps the attraction to large, full-form breasts is due to Hollywood's push of the sex symbol. Perhaps it is a result of fashion industry marketing. Whatever the cause, and whenever it started, the attraction of the female breast is not limited to men and it is not limited to sexuality. Whether the desire is to enhance the breast, reduce the breast or change the shape of the breast, cosmetic surgery is huge business. He serves as the President of the Los Angeles Society of Plastic Surgeons and has presented lectures on plastic surgery throughout the United States. He has been featured as a plastic surgery expert on a variety of television programs including CNN, Dr. Drew’s Lifechangers, and HLN.
